I was approached by the team at Gradual to craft an explainer video for their presentation at Mozfest 2023. Within a tight deadline, I dove headfirst into the project armed with a detailed script. From concept art and storyboarding to sound design and the final animation, I enjoyed the entire process.

With a high level of creative freedom I experimented with colours and styles to suit the theme of the event, using colourful skin tones to add a whimsical touch to the entire production. On a quick turn around, simplicity is key so I paired down my designs to streamline the proccess, but made sure to add an abundance of character into the animation. The final product received a high level of praise from the team at Gradual.
